Madison County School District is seeking to contract with a firm of certified public accountants licensed to practice in Florida to audit the internal fund financial statements of its traditional public schools for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. The audit examination shall be conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards board standards (GASB) and shall include all funds under the supervisory control of the School District. The audit must be presented in the format identified in GASB 84. An overview of the planned scope and timing of the audit is posted on the district website at https://www.madison.k12.fl.us/bids. The request for proposal (RFP) deadline is 3:00 p.m. E.T. on July 13, 2023. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered. RFP forms may be obtained at the School District Finance Office from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. E.T. on Monday through Thursday.
