Dr. Loietta Holmes

District Coordinator of Curriculum Instruction and CTE

Welcome to the Office of Curriculum & CTE

The Curriculum and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department of Madison County School District is committed to empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for academic excellence, college readiness, and career success. Under the leadership of the District Coordinator of Curicculum & CTE, the department oversees and supports instructional programs for grades K–12, including traditional academics and career-focused pathways.

We work collaboratively with school leaders, educators, and community partners to ensure high-quality curriculum development, effective teaching practices, and innovative CTE offerings aligned with industry standards. Our department coordinates school improvement planning, instructional materials adoption, state and national compliance, and professional development to promote continuous growth.

Our CTE programs provide students with real-world learning experiences, industry certifications, and career exploration opportunities, preparing them for both postsecondary education and the workforce.

Whether pursuing academic excellence or a skilled career, Madison County students are supported every step of the way through a rigorous, relevant, and responsive educational framework.
